'Corona' impact on Supreme Court too, now hearing will be done through videoconferencing

New Delhi: The terror of coronavirus is increasing now. By Monday morning, the number of patients in the entire country has gone up to 415, out of which 8 have died. Corona is now having an impact on the hearing of the top court. All the hearings in the apex court will be through video conferencing. No one will be allowed to visit the Supreme Court premises.

On Monday, CJI SA Bovde said that due to Corona, the hearing will now be done through video conferencing. How will it be done, measures are being taken. Soon the top court will announce what you will need to do for the video call. With this, entry into the Supreme Court has been stopped. During the hearing, CJI SA Bovde said that the lawyers have to keep their chamber closed. He is given time till tomorrow evening to take out his file. After this the Chamber has been closed till further orders. Will be reviewed again after a week. A decision will be taken after that.

During this time, the lawyers have appealed to the top court to extend the dates of the cases ending in four weeks to four weeks. However, the court said that a necessary hearing would take place, but there would be no person hearing. Justice courts will not come even during the event of hearing, and the case will be heard only through video conferencing.
