New Delhi: Indian cricket team's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav continues to shower runs with the bat. In the year 2022, no player has scored more runs than him for Team India, and another sight of this was seen today i.e. on Sunday. In the second T20 match played against New Zealand, Suryakumar Yadav scored a stormy century, this was the second century of his career.

Team India batted first here and scored 191 in the given 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav, who came to bat at number three, scored 111 runs in just 51 balls, which included 11 fours and 7 towering sixes. Suryakumar Yadav scored these runs at a strike rate of 217. In the last 5 overs, Suryakumar Yadav created destruction and played shots all around the field. This can be gauged from the statistics that Surya completed his fifty in 32 balls, while his century was completed in a total of 49 balls. That is, he hit the second fifty in just 17 balls. At the end of the innings, Surya was unbeaten on 111 off 51 balls. In the last 19 balls of his innings, he scored a total of 61 runs.

Due to Surya's smoky inning, India scored 191 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant inning of 111 runs from Team India, apart from him, Ishan Kishan contributed 36, and Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer contributed 13-13 runs. India's score could have crossed 200, but New Zealand's Tim Southee stopped India by taking a hat-trick in the last over.
