Guyana: Suryakumar Yadav's outstanding performance against the West Indies on Tuesday helped India win the third Twenty20 International at Providence Stadium in Guyana. The Indian team won easily by seven wickets after losing the first two games, cutting the series deficit to 1-2 over the course of the five-match series.

Yadav and Tilak Varma took charge of the batting lineup in an effort to reach a target of 160 runs, and they led their team to victory with 13 balls remaining.

The 32-year-old, who is currently the top T20 batter, showed off his skills by scoring an impressive 83 runs off only 44 deliveries while keeping a strike rate of 188.64. In his spectacular knock, he smashed 10 fours and 4 sixes. After a difficult run in ODI series, this performance marked his return to form.

It's important to note that Yadav got off to a respectable start in the first T20I by scoring 21 runs. The right-hander encountered a setback, though, as he was ejected after the next game for just one run.

Yadav, who was named Player of the Match, celebrated the victory with his supporters in Guyana. He interacted with the crowd, posed for pictures, signed autographs, and exuded joy. Yadav gave his jersey to a "special" fan as a touching gesture following the triumph. He gave his game-winning jersey to a fan who was in a wheelchair.

Windies captain Rovman Powell chose to bat first after winning the toss and discussing the match. Thanks to Brandon King's 42 and Kyle Mayers' 25, the team scored 55 runs in just 7.3 overs, getting off to a quick start. However, India gained the upper hand after Kuldeep Yadav and Akshar Patel swiftly dismissed both of the openers.

Johnson Charles, who scored 12 runs, was also caught by Kuldeep. Prior to being bowled by Sanju Samson off a delivery from Kuldeep, Nicholas Pooran made a quickfire 20 off 12 balls. West Indies' 20-over total of 159/5 included skipper Powell's unbeaten 40 off 19 deliveries, which included three sixes and a four.

Young Varma kept up the momentum after Yadav left the field and finished the innings unbeaten on 49 off 37 balls. With an unbeaten 20 runs, including a crucial six that ensured victory, Hardik Pandya made a significant contribution.

India maintained their series lead with a comfortable 7-wicket victory. On August 12 and 13, respectively, the upcoming two T20Is will take place in Landerhill, USA.
