BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla has made it clear that the high voltage match cannot be cancelled due to the international commitment of the ICC. Talking to the media, Rajeev Shukla said, "We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Strict action should be taken against terrorists. As far as the match between India and Pakistan is concerned, we cannot refuse to play because of the international commitments of the ICC.''

Rajeev Shukla further said, 'You have to play against teams in ICC tournaments.' The T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played in Dubai on October 24.
