Jaipur: Many Afghan cricketers like Rashid Khan have attracted the attention of the entire world in the last few years. But after the advent of the Taliban rule, there has been uncertainty about the future of cricket in Afghanistan. Cricketers are under stress. On the other hand, in Rajasthan, reports of a cricket team named 'Taliban' participating in the local tournament have surfaced.

According to reports, a team named Taliban arrived in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan to play in the Aladdin Khan Smriti Cricket Trophy. The team also played a match in which they won. But, after criticism on social media, the organizers apologized and expelled the team from the tournament. Tournament organizer Ismail Khan clarified that online applications for cricket had come. That is why we could not pay attention to it. We apologize to everyone.

Tell you that the tournament is held every year at Jesurana village in Jaisalmer. This year it started from 22nd August 2021. Meanwhile, many players in the cricket-obsessed Afghanistan national team have not been able to focus on their game since the Taliban's occupation. Due to this, the ODI series between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been postponed from September 3.
