VK Shashikala who announced his retirement from The State just before the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, is now gearing up to return to politics. In an audio discussion with a party worker, she has hinted at returning to active politics after the corona epidemic is over. Shashikala's audio clip is going viral on social media in which she discussed with her party leader and assured her return to politics.
In the viral audio, Shashikala is speaking to her party leader on the call, "Don't worry, definitely the party things will be fine. Once this corona epidemic is over, I will come back". In reply, the party leader said, "We will be after you, Amma". The phone call is being denied true and the report says that the viral phone call has been confirmed by AMMK Secretary General TTV Dinakaran's personal assistant janarthan.
Just before the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, former CM Jayalalithaa's best friend Shashikala had retired from politics after taking a big decision. Announcing this, Sasikala had said in a letter to her supporters that the cadre of AIADMK should work together to defeat Stalin's party DMK in the coming elections. At the same time, she recalled Jayalalitha as her elder sister, whom she worshipped like a goddess. Till then, everything was not going well between Shashikala and AIADMK.
