Chennai: Corona cases are increasing in Tamil Nadu these days, but in the meantime, it has been said about opening a gym there. According to recently received information, the gym which has been closed for the last four months is going to open from August 10. From 10 August, gym is ready to give its services again. Recently, this has been said in the official release issued by the government.

According to the official release, after considering the demands of the Tamil Nadu Gym Owner and Coaches Welfare Association, Chief Minister K Palaniswamy has given an order in this matter. The government says, 'Palaniswami has ordered permission to open the gym from August 10 and the central government has given permission to open such facilities from today itself'. On the other hand, talking about the release, according to it, only people up to the age of 50 years will be allowed to come to the gym, then people older than that can not come to the gym.

Apart from this, everyone will have to follow the standard operating procedure which the government is going to issue separately. Apart from all these, to stop the spread of Covid 19, the gym along with other institutions is also closed since the lockdown implemented from 24 March. Permission has been given to start other businesses and activities in a phased manner. Permission has also been given to open the gym.
