Bengaluru: On Wednesday, Karnataka minister K.S. Eshwarappa said that after 'liberating' Mathura and Kashi along with Ayodhya, Grand temples of Lord Krishna and Vishwanath will be built. On the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Ram temple by PM Narendra Modi in Ayodhya, he said, "I strongly believe that if not today, tomorrow the temples of Kashi and Mathura will also be liberated and grand temples will be built .''

Former state BJP president Eshwarappa said that Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura were centres of 'Hindu slavery' as a centre of Hindu recognition, as temples of Ram, Krishna and Vishwanath were demolished and mosques were built at that place. He said on this occasion, "After the demolition of the Babri Masjid on 6 December 1992, we felt that the symbol of slavery had been erased and now it has been decided to build a grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya."

Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Eshwarappa said that "Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya should be developed as centres of faith". He further said, "A grand temple will be made in Kashi and Mathura. Mosques will be removed from there."
