Srirangarajapuram Mandalakendra has 17.36 acres of government land. Five years ago, the land was occupied and cultivated by local TDP leader M Krishnamanayudu and his family members. Krishnamanayudu, along with a man named Umapathinayudu, submitted a petition to allocate the government land within 2 km of the Mandalakendra to a person who did not want to distribute it to anyone. The then Collector immediately ordered an inquiry. The landlords who applied for the land turned out to be at trial. With this, the Collector ordered to distribute the 17.36 acres in their possession to the SCs and STs and use the remaining land for government purposes. The occupiers, however, prevented those orders from being enforced.

Krishnamanayu did not stop trying to get the land that the poor deserved. As he got older, the then TDP zone president M. Bhaskar Naidu took his help. In 2009, Bhaskar Naidu's wife Jhansi was elected Sarpanch. Pieces were moved to burn government land as a similar opportunity. The resolution was passed in the panchayat as per GO 635 and sent to the Collector. Bhaskar Naidu, Jhansi bridesmaids Haimawati and Krishnamanayudu's daughters Andalamma and Thulasamma said in the resolution that the land should be distributed to the poor. Thulasamma was working as a government teacher at that time. Andalamma is camped in Bangalore. However the panchayat resolution was thwarted and government land was seized. Without stopping there, the APLMA committee took up the recommendations and obtained orders to purchase the land.

Later, land worth crores of rupees was bought from the government in the name of benefactors at the rate of Rs 1 lakh per acre. The power was obstructed and the mouths of the poor were struck. Bhaskar Naidu re-registered the land in the name of agriculture from his benefactors. The collector did not care if the NOC had to be given to sell the government land to others. Mango trees were planted around the land to avoid suspicion from onlookers. There is also a private school inside. The rest of the land was plotted and sales began. Bhaskar Naidu is harassing the officers in the office of the Sub-Registrar without proper documents. The villagers have recently complained to the authorities about this whole landslide. It is learned that the district authorities have ordered an inquiry into this.
