Bengaluru: Fighter jets are doing wonders at the 13th edition of Arrow India in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. Tejashwi Surya, the youngest MP of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) arrived here on the second day of the show on Thursday. He flew in a Tejas fighter jet built in India. He was seen wearing an Air Force Pilot dress during this period. During this, he said that LCA Tejas is a symbol of self-reliant India.

He said that it shows India's scientific excellence and capabilities. He said that he was very happy that he got a chance to fly in this amazing fighter plane. LCA Tejas is Bengaluru's gift to India. Let me tell you that Tejashwi is an MP from Bangalore South Lok Sabha seat. Recently he has been appointed as the President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Tejas is a one-engine multirole supersonic fighter jet made by HAL.

A major contract has been signed between the government and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to equip the Indian Air Force with Tejas fighter jets. On the occasion of the inauguration of 'Aero India-2021', a formal approval was signed on Wednesday for the purchase of 83 light Tejas fighter jets worth Rs 48 thousand crores. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was present on the occasion.
