Patna: Even though the Election Commission has not announced the date yet for the Bihar Assembly elections to be held this year, but political stir has increased significantly in Bihar. Meanwhile, the main opposition party of the state, taking lessons from the Lok Sabha elections, somehow seems to be alert about the opposition in the party.

In particular, the party is not in the mood to take any kind of 'risk' by former Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav for demanding tickets to his supporters. In the Lok Sabha elections held last year, Tej Pratap had fielded him as an independent candidate after not giving tickets to his supporters in three areas. In this election, the party is trying to avoid any such situation. RJD sources say that Tej Pratap wants to contest from Hasanpur seat of Samastipur instead of Mahua in this election. It is being said that last week, Tej Pratap went to Ranchi and met his father Lalu Prasad and cleared his position.

RJD sources say that Tej Pratap is also seeking tickets from Shivhar, Jehanabad, Karakat and Harnaut from the party to make his four supporters candidates. Sources say that Tej Pratap has also spoken to his father on this issue. However, information about what Lalu Prasad Yadav said on these demands of Tej Pratap could not be found.
