Batukam and Dussehra festivals are celebrated not only in Indians but also in gulf countries. In fact, Batukam has become a non-resident community affair every year in the Gulf region. The Batuka festival is considered to be a symbol of Telangana's cultural identity. This festival is similar to the Navratri celebrations and Telanganais celebrate it all over the world. This year people celebrate as a result of the corona infection as prescribed by social distance regulations and government standards.

This year's Batukam festival was celebrated in a unique and entirely different way. The epidemic may have changed the nature of Dussehal and Batuka celebrations, but this has not diminished the spirit of people living abroad. This year's religious celebrations may have been muted, but that does not mean they don't exist. As the flower festival became a global event, digital apps like Zoom and Facebook allowed them to be identified as communities.

In accordance with local rules on the meetings, Telugu families gathered in small groups of permitted parameters and communicated with their indigenous people through online applications. "We celebrate the festival openly until last year, but this year we had to cancel the meeting publicly but we are using online resources," said Sarita Reddy, a port resident in Dubai.
