Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has mark an appreciable work as he has approved financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh to the families of journalists. Let us share that this aid is offer to those who succumbed to Corona recently. Further, assistance is also being extended to 200 journalists, who have tested positive for Corona virus recently. This aid  of Rs. 2 lakh financial assistance for journalists, could be avail by applications needed to submitted before May 10.

Here it is to be noted that following the requests made by Telangana Union of Working Journalists and other unions, the State Government has taken this decision. During the second wave of the Corona pandemic, in the last 10 days, 15 journalists have succumbed to the virus. Considering the situation, Telangana State Media Academy has taken the decision to extend the financial assistance.

However, here it is to be noted that along with the application, the family members will have to produce a corona death certificate from local District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), accredititation card, Corona positive report and approval from local District Public Relations Officer (DPRO).
