Telangana: Indira Shobhan, senior leader of YSRTP party in Telangana has resigned. He made an important statement to this effect and sent his resignation to party president Sharmila. Indira Shobhan has made it clear that she will soon announce her future activities and will only go ahead for the people by staying in public life.
He expressed hope that the people of Telangana would continue to support him in the same way as they had done earlier. Sharmila was shocked by the resignation of Indira Shobhan. She was instrumental in the founding of YSRTP, and has been running alongside Sharmila for over a year. It is reported that he is in touch with the PCC leader to return to the Congress after Revanth Reddy was announced as the TPCC chief.
Indira Shobhan, however, did not specify which party she would join. Meanwhile, YS Sharmila, who had already founded the YSRTP party on July 8, is going public with various programs holding hunger strikes in support of unemployment every Tuesday in each district. However, before his party could go public, he was struck by two leaders who resigned from the party. Last month, Pratap Reddy, who was the YSRTP in-charge for the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district, resigned from the party, saying Konda Raghava Reddy was the reason for his exit.
