All educational institutions in the state will remain closed today after the students' unions announced the bandh. To check fee hikes in all private and corporate institutions, students' unions have called for a bandh today. A rally has also been planned as a protest from Narayanguda flyover to RTC X roads.

Meanwhile, some schools and junior colleges have announced holidays. Some management has also sent messages declaring a holiday on Wednesday in the wake of the Bharat Bandh called by student organisations.

The students also demanded to provide infrastructure in government schools, including the construction of new buildings for government and Gurukul schools. The union further demanded filling up of the posts of teachers who are vacant in government institutions. Students' Union SFI, AISF, PDSU, AIDSO, TVV participated in the bandh. In view of the bandh, all private and government educational institutions have been closed today.
