Srinagar: A police and CRPF party has been terrorized in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, in which a policeman is martyred while another is seriously injured. Giving information, the police said that the militants opened fire at a joint block in Prechu area of Pulwama, in which two policemen were shot.

He was admitted to the sub-district hospital in an injured state. However one policeman was declared dead and the other was referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar. Giving information, sources said that the Joint Police Party also gave a befitting reply to the terrorists. Medical Superintendent Dr. Jamil Ahmed has confirmed that one policeman has been declared dead, while another is seriously injured, who is undergoing treatment.

The martyred policeman has been identified as Anoop Singh, who was from the IRP 10th Battalion. While the injured have been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim. After this attack, the police and CRPF have surrounded the area from all sides and have started investigating the attackers.
