Terrorists attack two places in Kashmir, one civilian killed and the other injured

Srinagar: One person was killed and the other is said to be injured in firing of terrorists in two separate incidents in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening. These terrorist incidents have taken place at Tral in Avantipora in South Kashmir and Vanpora in Pulwama. Two terrorists opened fire on two people in Vanpora. Senior police officers reached the spot as soon as they got information about the incident.

Police said that, "A shopkeeper was shot dead by terrorists in Avantipora. He is identified as Mohammad Ayub Ahangar, he was a resident of Panju Tral. After being shot, he was taken to a hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead. " At the same time, terrorists shot a sumo-driver in Pulwama district. He is identified as Mohammad Aslam Wani, he was a resident of Vanpora area of Pulwama. He is admitted to the hospital after being shot, where he is undergoing treatment.

On the other hand, Pakistan has opened fire on Indian posts on Thursday in three sectors of the Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Devendra Anand said at around 5.30 pm on Thursday that Pakistan has done this firing in Shahpur, Kirni and Kasba sectors of Poonch district. The Indian Army has also given a befitting reply to this.
