14-day custody of arrested ISI module, were about to blasts on Diwali-Dussehra

New Delhi: A court in the national capital Delhi has remanded arrested terrorists, Jan Mohammad Sheikh, Osama, Mulchand, and Mohammad Abu Bakr to 14 days police custody, while two other terrorists in the case, Zeeshan Qamar and Amir Javed, will be produced before the court on Wednesday afternoon.

The Special Cell of Delhi Police informed on Tuesday that six persons, including two terrorists trained by ISI in Pakistan, have been arrested while busting a Pakistan-backed terrorist module. The Special Cell said that the accused have been identified as Jan Mohammad Sheikh (47) alias Sameer, Osama (22), Mulchand (47), Zeeshan Qamar (28), Mohammad Abu Bakr (23), and Mohammad Amir Javed (31), who were arrested after raids in Delhi and parts of Uttar Pradesh. Police said the terrorists were planning to carry out several blasts during the upcoming festivals in the country.

Police said Pakistan-based Anees Ibrahim, brother of Dawood Ibrahim, was associated with underworld operatives to carry out the terror attack. Inquiries revealed that Pakistan's terror module was being operated through two components underworld and terror modules trained by Pak-ISI.
