Terrorists took help of Women and children helped to transport explosives for the attack in Pulwama: Report

New Delhi: In the investigation, it is found that the explosives used in Pulwama attack were ferried by terrorists a transit point in Tral in Pulwama district in South Kashmir with the help of women and children.

As per the intelligence sources, RDX grade 5, which is meant for military use, and ammonium nitrate were used in the February 14 Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the source,  the trigger used in the Pulwama attack was manufactured locally. Further, the military grade RDX was brought in from Pakistan and the bomb was assembled some 10 kms from the place of attack. The convoy was attacked in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.

40 CRPF Jawans were martyred on February 14 when a local suicide bomber, Aadil Dar, rammed his SUV into a CRPF bus which was part of a convoy of over 70 vehicles moving from Jammu to Srinagar.

Responding to the attack, The security forces avenged the Pulwama attack just four days later on February 18 by killing three Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) terrorists including Kamran, a resident of Pakistan and the mastermind of the Pulwama terror attack
