Low-cost carrier Thai AirAsia X has announced an exciting expansion of its flight operations between Bangkok and Delhi, aiming to cater to the growing travel demand from India. Starting January 15, 2025, the airline will operate four weekly flights, enhancing connectivity and offering seamless onward travel options for Indian passengers.

Increased Demand Fuels New Flights

Thai AirAsia X is tapping into the rising number of Indian travelers drawn to Thailand's visa-free entry and waived visa fees. The airline aims to capture a significant share of the Indian market, including passengers seeking onward connections to other domestic and international destinations.

The airline first launched direct flights between Delhi and Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport on December 15, 2024. Initially operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, the schedule will expand to four flights per week from mid-January 2025 to meet growing demand.

Affordable Fares and Convenient Bookings

Travelers can enjoy fares starting at just Rs.7,990 per trip. Tickets are available for booking until November 24, 2024, with travel valid through March 26, 2025. Reservations can be made via

Flight Schedule and Aircraft Details

Thai AirAsia X will operate the route using the comfortable Airbus A330 aircraft. The schedule includes:

Flight XJ231: Departs New Delhi at 17:05-hrs, Reaches Bangkok (Don Mueang) at 22:50-hrs.
Flight XJ230: Conversely, it departs Bangkok at 12.45-hrs, arrives in Delhi at 15:50-hrs.

The airline’s Fly Thru service adds convenience for travelers connecting to domestic destinations like Chiang Mai and Phuket or international cities such as Sydney and Shanghai, streamlining immigration and baggage handling.
