Thala Ajit, the famous actor of Tollywood always remains in discussions due to his films. On the other hand, his 'Valimai' is one of the most ambitious films of Indian cinema, which has never been called an action thriller. Ajith plays the role of a super soldier in the film and almost 50% of the shooting was completed before the lockdown at Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao Film City and some locations in Chennai. The team had planned to go to various cities abroad for major action scenes.
Thala Ajith informed the team of the film 'Velimai' to resume shooting, as the situation of Covid-19 completely protected the safety of the cast and crew. Considering it ended completely.
Now the latest discussion is that if everything is fine, the team of 'Velimai' is preparing to resume shooting from November this year and if shooting abroad is not favorable then shooting those parts in India will be done. There are plans to bring the film to theaters for the summer of 2021. Directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor, 'Valimai' has a musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Among the cast are Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Pearle Mane, and Karthikeya.
