According to information received from sources, Thawar Chand Gehlot has been made a part of Modi cabinet for the second time. He is one of the Dalit faces of BJP. Even in the first term of the Modi government, Thawar Chand Gehlot has been the Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Affairs. Thawar Chand Gehlot was born on 18 May 1948 at Nagda in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. He graduated from Vikram University, Ujjain. Gehlot has been an MP from Shajapur Lok Sabha seat from 1996 to 2009.

Let us tell for the information that political activism has taken place in the last few hours due to the health reasons of BJP leader Arun Jaitley. Arun Jaitley, who is holding the finance ministry after the recent Lok Sabha polls, had already written a letter before the swearing-in of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet, declaring that it was not possible for him to remain in office for health reasons. He had appealed to PM Modi not to make him a part of the cabinet again.
