According to media reports, the clerk kept transferring this amount to his two bank accounts by tampering with the school bills and making fake bills. Not only this, the accused had also opened a fake account of a science teacher, whose benefits including salary he was taking. The finance department also did not consider it appropriate to investigate it.

In his statement, District Education Officer Raj Kumar Khosla said that the matter was disclosed when the audit department found something wrong. After this, the audit department complained to the DEO and a district level committee was formed to investigate. Principal Major Singh and Principal Avtar Singh were the investigating officers. The same, after investigation, on 11 May 2020, the District Police Chief complained against the clerk and the Principal of the school, and on 16 June, the Nangal Police made a case of scam of Rs 99 lakh 27 thousand 517 against the clerk Rajiv Kumar and the school Principal Suresh Kumar. Entered He told that investigation has found that the accused clerk had deposited the amount of the scams in two accounts of SBI Bank.
