New Delhi: The rise in demand for green mobility solutions in recent years has resulted in all automakers rolling out new Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in the two-wheeler and four-wheeler segments.
With the new Chetak, Bajaj Auto entered the high-end e-scooter market in 2019. However, as a result of rival products like the Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro taking away market share, the company has now unveiled a unique 2023 edition. ,
The 2023 Bajaj Chetak Premium Edition retains the neo-retro design aesthetic of the standard model. It gets a wide handlebar, a flat footboard, body-coloured mirrors, a dual-tone seat, a chunky pillion grab rail, a slim body panel and split-type taillamps that are vertically oriented.

It also gets indicator mounted front apron and oval shaped LED headlight with integrated DRL. The scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels and a circular TFT display.
The 2023 Bajaj Chetak Premium Edition gets full-metal body panels unlike most of its rivals. The metallic panels give the scooter more rigidity as well as a more advanced look, which reduces the chances of damage or cracking from minor impacts.
Unlike the fiber components, it also gives the EV a glossy look without using too many layers of paint.

The 2023 Bajaj Chetak Premium Edition gets Combined Braking System for better braking performance, disc brake on the front wheel, drum brake on the rear wheel and other safety features for the safety of the rider.
A mono-shock unit at the rear and a single-sided fork at the front handle the duties of the e-suspension scooter respectively.

A fixed variant, IP67-rated 3kWh lithium-ion battery pack and 3.8kW electric motor provide power for the 2023 Bajaj Chetak Premium Edition. On a single charge, the system is expected to provide a range of up to 90 kms.
