Dehradun: In the rainy Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, there was devastation due to the glacier burst on Sunday morning. It has been learned that the Dhauli river has been flooded due to the glacier burst. This has increased the crisis from Chamoli to Haridwar. As soon as the information was received, the administration team left for the scene. At the same time, police are alerting loudspeakers on the river banks of Chamoli district. In Karnprayag, people settled on the banks of the Alaknanda River started evacuating the house. The Rishi Ganga and Tapovan Hydro Project have been completely destroyed.

There will be a meeting of the National Crisis Management Committee on the situation in Uttarakhand. From now on, this meeting to be held in some time will be attended by the Home Secretary along with the top officials of the Union Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs. Representatives of the National Disaster Management Authority will also be present in this meeting. A high-level team has been formed to monitor relief and rescue operations in Uttarakhand, which is monitoring the situation.

Home Minister Amit Shah has kept the NDRF, Air Force, and related departments on alert for joint operation. The government's top priority is the protection of life and property. According to preliminary information, the number of missing people could be up to 100 in the accident that took place in Uttarakhand, which has 60 workers who were working there and also the local people living along the coast. PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have inquired about the Uttarakhand disaster from Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat. He received information about relief and rescue work from the Chief Minister. All the concerned officers are working on a war footing to secure the people.
