Dehradun: In the rainy Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, there was a catastrophe due to a glacier burst on Sunday morning. It has been learned that the Dhauli river has been flooded due to the glacier burst. This has increased the crisis from Chamoli to Haridwar. As soon as the information was received, the administration team left for the scene. At the same time, police are alerting loudspeakers on the river banks of Chamoli district. In Karnprayag, people settled on the banks of the Alaknanda River started evacuating the house. The Rishi Ganga and Tapovan Hydro Project have been completely destroyed.

It is also being said that Additional District Magistrate Tehri Shiv Charan Dwivedi said that after getting information about the flooding of the Dhauli river, an alert has been issued in the district. Along with this, the Haridwar district administration has also issued an alert. All police stations and riverbanks have been instructed to be vigilant. An alert has also been issued in Rishikesh. Instructions have been given to immediately remove the boat operation and rafting operators from the river.

According to the information received, it has now been reported that 100 to 150 lives are being reported in Chamoli. But still, this has not been fully confirmed.
