Purnima falls on the last date of Shukla Paksha of every month. This time the full moon date of Kartik Month falls on Friday, 19th November 2021. Kartik Purnima Pujan Vidhi:-
Kartik Purnima is also known as Dev Deepawali. Therefore, on this day, one should light a lamp in any lake or place of religion. It is believed that on this day one should take a holy bath in Brahmamuhurt or bathe in the house with Ganga water. On this day, the lamp of pure desi ghee should be lit in front of Lord Vishnu by fasting. After tilak of Shri Hari, worship him with incense, lamps, fruits, flowers and offerings etc. Worship Lord Vishnu again in the evening. Offer dry flour Kasar and Panchamrit fried in desi ghee to God. You must include Tulsi in it. Then worship Mother Lakshmi and perform Aarti along with Vishnu. After the moon rises at night, give a longitude and then open the fast.
