New Delhi: A conference of chief justices and chief ministers of the high court has begun at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital. At the beginning of the programme, PM Modi laid a lot of emphasis on technology. PM Modi said that digitization is being promoted. Efforts are being made to reduce the delay in getting justice. The infrastructure is being completed. The process of filling up the vacancy in the court is going on. The role of the judiciary is as the custodian of the Constitution.

PM Modi further said that a large population does not understand the judicial process and decisions, so justice should be linked to the people. Must be in the language of the people. Ordinary people do not have to knock on the doors of justice by understanding the law in the folk language and common language. He said that new ideas come from the joint conference. Today this conference has been organized on the Amrit Mahotsav of independence. The executive and the judiciary are together shaping the future of India's new dreams. In view of the centenary year of the country's independence, we must move towards creating new dimensions of simple, accessible, speedy justice for all.

PM Modi said that the work of filling up the vacant posts from the district court to the high court and the Supreme Court has progressed at a fast pace. The technological possibilities in the judiciary are pushed forward in mission mode. The basic IT infrastructure is also being strengthened. A few years ago,  the digital revolution was considered impossible. Then it was only possible in the cities. But now, 40% of the country's total digital transactions in villages have taken place in villages. We should promote local languages in the courts. This will increase the confidence of the common people of the country in the justice system.
