On January 16, a passenger on a SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru was unfortunately stuck inside the toilet for almost an hour. This situation occurred due to a malfunction in the door lock during the flight. SpiceJet said that during the journey, our crew has provided assistance and guidance to the passenger.

The airline will refund the fare to the passenger: Reports say that a SpiceJet spokesperson has said that on reaching Bangalore, an engineer opened the toilet door and immediate medical aid has been provided to the passenger. SpiceJet has also said that a full refund will be given to the passenger who was stuck inside the toilet for about an hour on the flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru.
