Patna: So far 31 people have died due to spurious liquor in Saran of Bihar. The opposition BJP is continuously surrounding Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on this issue. Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar, while replying to the allegations of the opposition in the Assembly, said, "The one who drinks spurious liquor will surely die, people have to be alert themselves."

Nitish Kumar said, ''Even when there was no prohibition in Bihar, people used to die after drinking spurious liquor. Even in other states, such incidents happen. People should be alert. Since liquor is banned in Bihar, some other artificial liquors have been sold, and people have died after drinking it.'' Nitish Kumar said that ''drinking alcohol is a bad habit. It should not be drunk.'' Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, ''I have told the officers not to catch poor people, catch those who are doing this business. Many people have benefited from the liquor ban law, and many people have given up alcohol.'' Nitish appealed that no one should do business related to liquor and do any business, if needed, the government is ready to give up to Rs 1 lakh for other business.

Nitish Kumar said that when last time people died due to drinking spurious liquor, then someone said that the government should give compensation to these people. But if anyone drinks the alcohol, he will die. An example of this is in front of us. Places where these incidents happen should be visited and people should be made to understand. In fact, 31 people died after drinking spurious liquor in Isuapur and Mashrak police station area in Saran, Bihar. The family members of the deceased told that the death was due to drinking alcohol. However, the administration is maintaining silence on this issue. It is being said that many people are still admitted to the hospital.
