Telugu Movie's most talented actor Uday Kiran has ended his life by hanging himself in his apartment in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad on 5 January 2014. Due to depression and financial constraints, he had decided to end his life. Uday started his career in the year 2000. He was the youngest actor after Kamal Haasan to receive the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Uday Kiran's first three movies, Chitram, Nuvu Nenu and Mansantha Nuve, were blockbusters and due to the success of three consecutive movies, he has also earned the title of "Hatrick Hero". But after that fate started writing some other story for him. With many flop movies, the success graph of Uday started decreasing gradually. It became difficult for Uday to face the failure that came after reaching a point in his career and later on it became the reason for his death.

An engagement was broken: At the age of 22, Uday Kiran was engaged to Sushmita, daughter of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, but due to some reason this engagement did not last long. After which, Uday Kiran married his girlfriend Vishita on October 24, 2012. But after 2 years of marriage, he took a break from life by committing suicide.
