Because of the narrow thinking of society, the victims of sexual assaults always live their lives by hiding their identities and criminals lead a life openly. The depth of the evil that has been rooted in society can be gauged from the fact that even a famous actress has been suppressing her pain for 5 years and the accused of the attack tried to wipe out her existence.

Challenging this distortion of society, South Indian movie actress Bhavana Menon took to Instagram on Monday to express her pain and wrote that she is not a criminal but she is trying to erase her identity from the film industry. An actor who worked with her attacked her for personal rivalry and has also made her a victim of sexual harassment.

Ten accused arrested, later released on bail: Kerala Police has taken into custody 7 of the 10 accused who were later released on bail. Actor Dileep, accused of plotting, has also been granted bail.

On her way back from the shoot, she was kidnapped and assaulted, made a video: The incident took place on February 17, 2017, when the actress sat in her car to go home after the shooting, some people took her hostage in her own car and kidnapped her and sexually assaulted her for nearly two hours. The actress somehow saved her life. Actor Dileep was accused of the case due to personal enmity.

According to media reports, Bhavana said, I am not alone in this fight for justice, thanking supporters. I hope no one has to fight like me to bring the wrongdoers to justice, I am going to take it to fruition.
