Dehradun: Health services are in a bad shape in Uttarakhand. The latest incident took place at the district hospital in Almora. Where the incident of playing with the lives of patients reaching the hospital when they are sick at night has come to light. The doctors posted in the emergency at the government hospital at midnight were found drunk. Seeing this, the family members got angry and returned with the patient from there without treatment. Now after the incident came to light, the hospital administration is preparing to take action against the culprit doctor.

Balwant Lal reached the district hospital with his five-year-old son Arush Kumar in an emergency situation at around 1.30 am on Tuesday. The child had a 103-degree fever. When they took the patient for treatment in an emergency, the doctor posted there was found drunk. The doctor on duty's tongue was fluttering and he was so drunk that he could not even prescribe medicines on the slip. On this, when the patient's family expressed displeasure, the doctor threatened and said do whatever you have to do.

Seeing the same drunk doctor, he also had a dispute with the family members. After a long argument, seeing the poor condition of the child, the family members immediately took him to another hospital. One of the family members who came with the patient recorded the video of the drunk doctor, on which the hospital administration and doctors are now clarifying. It is being told by the management that due to the poor health of the doctor posted in the emergency, he was under the influence of medicines. The hospital administration also said that the doctor did not misbehave or abuse anyone. The child's family has appealed to the hospital administration to take action against the doctor.
