Lucknow: The Izzatnagar police station of Bareilly district in UP has arrested the fake inspector and the inspector on charges of extortion. The people of Moradabad and CBganj police stations had also complained about demanding extortion. A case has been registered against the accused and sent to jail.

Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Moradabad district and Shahid, a resident of CBganj police station area of ​​Bareilly district, have told the police in Tahrir that 2 persons were in Delhi Police uniform. These people showed the ID of Delhi Police. Weapons were also fitted in their uniforms. The accused policemen started demanding extortion of 60 thousand rupees by telling them that they had links with the criminals of the area. Victims have said about this that they have no relation with any criminal, but took away 5000 rupees by threatening them.

After the complaint of these cases, the police started investigation, then Aslam Khan, resident of Sarvodaya Nagar of Izzatnagar police station area and Amir Hamza, resident of Sania Rani village of CBganj police station area have been taken into custody. SP City Ravindra Kumar has said that a fake gun, bullet proof jacket, Delhi Police I-card, army dress, monogram, Rs 4500 in cash and a bike have been recovered from the accused. Against whom a case has been filed in Izzatnagar police station under sections 386, 387, 170, 420, 468. Police is interrogating the accused and collecting information about other cases of extortion.
