New Delhi: India is called the 'country of villages' as most of its population lives in rural areas, but in the last few decades, there has been a lot of migration of youth to metropolitan cities for employment and higher education. The glare of metropolitan cities attracts everyone to ourselves, but due to the busy lifestyle, we are not able to notice the loss of living here. We've often heard that this city takes away more than it gives us. We're talking about the big losses that are caused by living in cities.
The same if you have a house around traffic-filled roads and crowded places, then it can cause a lot of harm to health. A study conducted a few years ago revealed that more noise increases the risk of heart attack manifold. Experts also pointed out that the sound of road and rail traffic is more prone to health and heart diseases than the sound of aeroplanes.
The same research was done at the Dresden University of Technology in Germany. It was published in a research magazine called 'Deutsche Arztebalat International'. Its researcher Andreas Seider and his co-writer seized information from more than 10 lakh health insurance companies aged 40. In this research, the voice of roads, railways and traffic around the people living in the Rain-Main area was examined in the year 2005. Then in the year 2014-15, information related to people who lost their lives due to heart attacks was examined in both these studies. In this study, they found a connection between the noise of vehicles and heart attacks.
After this study, both the experts came to the conclusion that the noise caused by planes causes less damage because these noises do not exceed 65 decibels, while the noise of traffic causes a lot of harm to our health. So, as far as possible, try to stay away from these sounds because it is not good at all for your heart.
