Lucknow: A case has come to light of saffron flag being hoisted instead of green color before Shanijaat in the dargah of Bade Miyan-Chhote Miyan present in Jalesar of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. It continued on the next day i.e. Wednesday (April 13) also in the Dargah premises. At the same time, the local people claim that there was a Shani temple earlier and later a dargah has been built here by encroaching on it. On the other hand, Jain society also claims that a part of them is also in the dargah. Aliganj SDM Alankar Agnihotri told that a large number of Hindu devotees come here to worship Shani Dev, which is called Jaat. During this they offer neja (flag). The red flag which has been put up, has been offered by these devotees. People from far and wide come to the Dargah on Wednesdays and Saturdays for Jaat and offer prayers. At the same time, Shailendra Singh, head of Jalesar Dehat Gram Panchayat, says that an ancient temple of Shani Dev was present at this place and the people gathered from the dargah gradually encroached upon the entire temple. Now the temple has ceased to exist. Local MLA Sanjeev Diwakar has also spoken of having a temple.

Let us inform that in this Dargah, there have been cases of scam in crores of rupees and material coming in the offerings of Shanijaat. After the scam came to light, the administration has taken control of the dargah. Every arrangement regarding the arrangement here has now come in the hands of the administration. 5 crore rupees come here every year in offerings. Now whatever money comes here in offerings, it will be deposited in the government treasury. Earlier this dargah was in the possession of the family members of the office bearers of Bade Miyan Dargah Committee. This family looked after the management of both the Bada Miyan and the Chota Miyan dargahs. After the scam, when the administration started action, they left Jalesar and fled. The administration has entrusted the responsibility of maintaining the dargah to some local people.

Let us tell that devotees come more in Bade Miyan and Shani temple in Dargah. At the same time, Jain society looks after the management of the caste which is held on Wednesday. Here the investigation is going on regarding the scam and the malpractices. The administration says that if anyone is found guilty in this, then action will be taken against him. Let us inform that the village head Shailendra Singh Rajput had given a complaint about this scam on 14 March 2022 and demanded an inquiry against the committee. After that, a case has been registered against the members of the Dargah Committee of Jalesar for embezzlement of about Rs 99 crore. In this, a case has been registered against 9 people, including the chairman of the Dargah committee, Mohammad Akbar, after which all are absconding. They are accused of embezzling the money of the dargah and collecting huge wealth.
