Hyderabad: Sarpanch in Telangana state can now kill wild pigs. The state government gave full rights to Sarpanchs to shoot and kill wild pigs. Sarpanch can now wander around villages and kill wild pigs who are harming crops. The state forest department has taken a surprising step to delegate powers to village heads to eliminate wild pigs, which failed to resolve the problem in many parts of the state.

In the orders of forest officials, 'Sarpanch was appointed as an honorary wildlife warden to hunt wild boars, which are dangerous to human life and property outside the pig protected areas and reserved forests. That Wild Beast can kill pigs.

Village headmen are allowed to kill wild animals that harm agricultural/horticultural crops outside protected areas and reserved forest areas. "In fact, the main reason for these orders of the forest department is the shortage of forest workers. The reason is that sarpanchs are given these rights.

However, there are certain conditions for giving these powers to the Sarpanch. For example, sarpanch has to take action on the written complaint of the farmers. After receiving the complaint, the farmers and village elders along with the honourable wildlife warden will examine the situation and assess the plan.

For hunting purposes, the Sarpanch should enter the services of hunters in the panel of shooters prepared by the state forest department. While hunting wild pigs, care must be taken to ensure that other animals and humans are not injured or killed and human property is not destroyed or destroyed.

The bodies of wild animals are buried under the ground in the presence of forest personnel. Officials have made it clear that killing wild pigs in protected and reserved forest areas is a punishable offence.
