The petition demanding the postponement of NEET and JEE Main examination is scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court today.It is being told that keeping in mind the corona infection in the petition, a demand has been made to postpone the proposed JEE Main and NEET examinations in September. Hearing about this is going to be done by a bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra. By the way, you will all know that the JEE exam to be held for admission in engineering is going to be held from September 1 to September 6.

NEET examination for admission in medical will be held from 13 September. At the same time, students from 11 states have requested to postpone the JEE Main and NEET examinations. With this request, all have filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In fact, this year about 24 lakh students have registered for JEE and NEET exams. In the petition filed at present, it has been said that 'there is a possibility of increasing the infection due to such number of students physically appearing in the examinations'. Now the hearing to be held today is considered very special.

Talking about applying for JEE Main this year, a total of 9,10,000 candidates have applied. At the same time, this year, students have to reach the examination center one hour before the JEE Main and NEET exam starts. This time due to corona infection, there is a delay in conducting the examination of JEE Main and NEET.
