New Delhi: The graph of the Covid epidemic now seems to be falling steadily. Today, after 70 days, the country has reported the lowest number of new cases of covid infection. According to the latest health department data, 84,332 new corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, and 4002 infected people have died. Meanwhile, 1 lakh 21 thousand 311 people have recovered from corona. That is, 40,981 active cases have come down in the past day. Earlier, 81,466 cases were registered on April 1.

Today, on the 30th consecutive day in the country, there has been more recovery in new cases of covid infection. As on 11th June, 24.96 crore covid vaccine doses have been given across the country. Last day, 34 lakh 33 thousand vaccines were administered. So far, 37.62 crore coronas have also been carried out. About 20 lakh covid sample tests were conducted in the past, with a positivity rate of more than 4 per cent.

Covid mortality rate in the country is 1.24 per cent while recovery rate has exceeded 95 per cent. Active cases have come down to less than 4 per cent. India ranks third in the world in the active case of Covid. India also ranks second in terms of total number of infected people. India has the highest number of deaths in the world after the US, Brazil.
