Lucknow: A speeding van crushed four people near Chhapia on the Gorakhpur-Khajni road in Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of Thursday. In which all four died. At the same time, the driver fled after parked the vehicle after the accident. The police of Nausadh outpost of Gida police station has confiscated the van by sending the four bodies for post-mortem. Among the dead, three people have been identified as Uruva and one resident of Khanipur.

It is being told that the youth of Khanimpur was going on a bicycle, the van first hit him and later crushed the other three going on foot. The dead were identified on Thursday afternoon. The speeding van at about three o'clock on Thursday gave the first cyclist round near the marriage lawn adjacent to the torrent located in Chhapia of Gida police station area. During this, the van went out of control and hit three passengers going on foot. After going some distance ahead, the van collided with a culvert. After that the driver left the car there and ran away.

The police arrived after getting the information and took everyone to the local hospital, where the doctors declared all four dead. The deceased cyclist has been identified as late Budhram, son of Rajaram Pal, a resident of Khanimpur in Gida police station area. On the other hand, the people going on foot have been identified as Suryanath son Bipat, Sunny son Ram Milan and Hariprakash son Lautu, resident of Dudhra in Uruva market. The police have confiscated the van. Police is collecting information about the driver and his owner from the number of the van.
