A shocking case of love jihad has been heard in the Kotwali police station area of Sawai Madhopur district. A Muslim youth befriended the minor by giving her the wrong name and then raped her as soon as he got a chance. After this, the family members of the victim have lodged a case at the police station. The police have investigated and taken the accused into custody within 26 hours.

Sawai Madhopur SP Sunil Bishnoi said that the family members of the victim have lodged a case at Mahila police station on March 8. The family members have told the police that a youth called and befriended their minor daughter by giving her the wrong name. After that, there was a conversation between the two for several days. On March 7, the accused saw the minor alone in the house and raped her.

SP Bishnoi said that after registering the case, the police have taken into custody the accused Mohammed Javed son of Fateh Mohammad, a resident of Ansari Mohalla police station Kotwali. The accused is being interrogated in connection with the case.
