According to the report, a person named Dhirendra was burning a firecracker by placing it in a glass here. As soon as the cracker exploded, pieces of it sank into the neck of one Chhatrapal, who was passing by, causing him to fall to the ground in a pool of blood, police said. Seeing all this, Dhirendra ran away from the spot.
Chhatrapal was rushed to a nearby community health centre from where he was referred to Aligarh. Chhatrapal died on the way to Aligarh from there. Circle Officer Sahaswan Chandrapal Singh said a case has been registered against Dhirendra and efforts are on to arrest him. The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem, police said.
According to the news received, the bus was to leave for its destination as usual on the morning of Deepawali. Due to this, the driver and conductor worshipped on Diwali night inside the car. Due to this, lamps were lit in front of the idols of God and offered kheer-batashe. Then both of them ate and after some time fell asleep in deep sleep. Meanwhile, the flame of the burning lamp in the bus ignited the fire and within a few minutes, the entire bus burnt. In this accident, the driver and conductor did not even get an opportunity to escape and both were burnt alive.
