Dhanbad: 53 coaches of coal-laden goods train at Gurpa station between Koderma and Manpur railway section of Dhanbad in Jharkhand today (Wednesday), October 26 at 6 am. derailed at 24 o'clock. This has disrupted rail traffic on the up and down lines. After the derailment of the goods train, the route was changed and the trains were operated. However, there was no damage in the incident as it was a goods train.

The same coal-laden goods train was coming from Koderma station and going towards Gaya. According to the report, the brake of the goods train failed. This is not the first incident of a train or goods train derailing the railway track. Earlier on October 24, 20 coaches of a Mamalgadi derailed at Chandur in the Amravati district of Maharashtra late on Sunday night. The Mumbai-Nagpur route was disrupted after the accident and the Railways had to divert several trains.

Just a day earlier, 29 coaches of a goods train derailed near Ramwa railway station in UP on Sunday. However, no one was injured in the incident. But due to this, the New Delhi-Kanpur-Prayagraj rail route was disrupted. Due to this, a total of 30 trains running on this route were affected. The same sudden incident created an atmosphere of stir around.
