In the story of "Alibaba and the Forty Thieves," a character who obeys orders is known by the famous line "Khul ja sim sim," and now Sayantani Ghosh is set to play Sim Sim in "Alibaba - Dastaan-e-Kabul."

She reveals: "With each shoot, I uncover new aspects of Sim Sim's identity and journey. There are times when I'm shooting for hours alone, which is a really draining process. This is in addition to spending 2 hours each day on makeup and costumes and being strapped to a harness all day. Nevertheless, thanks to the outstanding work of our entire crew, all of these psychological and physical difficulties were worthwhile."

The 'Naagin' fame goes on to describe her character in more detail and adds: "Sim Sim, who is motivated by love, takes on the role of ringleader to direct the story in "Alibaba - Dastaan-e-Kabul." She isn't afraid to be open and honest about the process of making something so energising."

Speaking about the show, the actress makes it clear that the viewers won't be watching a story that is like one they have read or seen before many times, and that Sim Sim will instead be portrayed as a villain.

You're all probably familiar with the tale of Alibaba, the forty thieves, and his love for the orphan children. However, this is not the typical tale of a treasure-filled cave told in Alibaba and chaalis chor (Alibaba and forty thieves). In fact, there are many dramatic twists and turns in our story. You'll not only get to see Alibaba's numerous journeys and the challenges he faces, but you'll also get to see Sim Sim for the first time as a character in this show rather than just a command. Sim Sim is a villain whose emotions and past are given a lot of weight in the production; she adds.
