Begumpet: According to the IMD bulletin, there is a possibility of rain or thundershowers in the evening or night in Hyderabad during the next three days. It said Golconda region (Hyderabad district) and Sangareddy recorded 10-10 cm of rain during the last 24 hours ended at 8.30 am on Sunday. The IMD issued a red warning that, under the influence of Cyclone Gulab, heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubabad, Warangal on September 27.

There will be heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kamareddy district and Ranga Reddy, Vikarabad on September 27 and heavy to very heavy rains are likely over Hyderabad, Siddipet, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak and Vikarabad districts on September 27 and 28. Meanwhile, due to active Southwest Monsoon conditions over Telangana, rain occurred at many places.

The main rainfall volumes (in cm) were: Saroornagar 6, Hyderabad 5, Kondapur, Sangareddy, Dindigul, Golconda (Hyderabad) 4 each, Nanganur (Siddipet), Uppal, Maheshwaram, Sadashivpet (Sangareddy), Hayatnagar, Manchal, Tupran (Medak) ) 3 each. Hayatnagar, Ramayampet, Shamirpet, Bejanaki (Siddipet), Ibrahimpatnam Mominpet (Vikarabad), Daulatabad (Siddipet), Chegunta (Medak), Gajwel (Siddipet), Jagdevpur (Siddipet), Kohir (Sangareddy) received 2 cm of rain. Hakimpet, Medchal, Yacharam, Siddipet, Naikal (Sangareddy), Narsapur Wargal (Siddipet), Nawabpet (Vikarabad) and Mirdoddi (Siddipet) received one cm each.
