Indore: Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic Management, Metropolitan Indore Mahesh Chand Jain held a press conference on traffic management route arrangements due to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference. During this, information was given by the Traffic Management Police on other points including route arrangements during the Pravasi Bharatiya Conference. He said that from January 8 to January 10, there is a national-level event of Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan, in which overseas Indians from more than 100 countries of the world are going to participate. The entire Indore administration and the people of Indore are all preparing for their hospitality. From the 7th, our guests will start arriving in the city in a very unknown figure. Prime Minister, Hon'ble President is scheduled to arrive on the 10th after an initial start on the 8th.  

The traffic management police's traffic plan for Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan will be as follows:

1- The left road from the super corridor to the bypass will be closed for general traffic from 07.01.2023 to 12.01.2023.

2- Vehicles coming towards the city from the airport will be able to come through Kalani Nagar, Wireless T to Marimata Square, and vehicles coming from Ujjain will be able to come through Marimata, Banganga, and Lavkush Square.

3- Entry of all types of goods vehicles from the super corridor to MR-10 will be prohibited from 05.01.2023 to 12.01.2023.

4- Heavy goods vehicles from Sanwer will be able to come to the city via Kshipra via the bypass.

5- Entry of four-wheelers / two-wheelers coming from the Sauer side will be prohibited on the MR-10 side. They will be able to go directly to Banganga and the airport. Similarly, you will be able to go directly from Banganga to the Sauer.

6- Rajbada area will be a no-vehicle zone on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th of January 2023. General Traffic/ The entry of vehicles into Rajbada will be completely prohibited.

7- On January 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, the Chhappan Dukaan area will also be no vehicle zones.

8- Khajrana Ganesh Temple area will be a no-vehicle zone on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th of January 2023.

9- On the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th of January 2023, passenger buses will be banned from moving toward Radisson Square. Passenger buses will be able to come to the city from the Bichauli Mardana side via White, Pipliyahana.
