Mumbai: A shocking incident of protest is coming out from Maharashtra. A farmer from Hellas village in Mantha tehsil of Jalna district of Aurangabad division, who was demanding possession of the land acquired by The Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sablkaran Swabhiman Yojana, buried himself in the land. Since this incident, he has become a topic of discussion in the area.
The mother and her aunt of a farmer named Sunil Jadhav got 1.35 hectares of land under the Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sablkaran Swabhiman Yojana. To acquire this land, they adopted a strange tactic of protest. In fact, Sunil Jadhav was tired of visiting government offices. Fed up with this, he buried himself in the ground.
Sunil Jadhav said that his mother Kaushalyabai Pandurang Jadhav and aunt Nandabai Kishan Sadavarte got 1.35 hectares of land under Karmveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sablkaran Swabhiman Yojana in the year 2019. Sunil Jadhav, a farmer, has been visiting the tehsil and the concerned government office for the last four years to get possession of the land. However, even after this, he could not get justice. Upset with this, farmer Sunil Jadhav has buried himself in the ground. He warned the administration that unless he gets possession of the land acquired under the Karmaveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Sablkaran Swabhiman Yojana, he will remain buried in the land.
