Patna: After two consecutive major lapses in the security of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, efforts are now being made to make his security cordon illegal. According to reports, 50 new officers and soldiers are being appointed to further strengthen the special security group that provides security to the CM.
The selection of new officers and soldiers joining the same special security group has been done by the Screening Committee. The new officers who have been appointed to the Special Security Group include 3 inspector rank, 11 si rank and 20 ASI rank officers. The special thing is that the new officers who are being appointed in the special security group include 5 women sub-inspectors. According to sources at the police headquarters, the Additional Director General of Police (Security) has written to all these officers to contribute to the special security group.
