Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested in Thrissur on Thursday under the POCSO Act on charges of indecent acts. Sreejith has been arrested under Section 11. Sreejith is veteran actor TG Ravi's son. According to the information received, on July 4, two children, aged between 14 and 9 years, complained to the police that a man who came in a black car with them had committed obscene acts.
On the complaint of the children, the Thrissur West police swung into action and examined the CCTV footage. When the police reached the house of the criminal, it was revealed that he was an actor Sreejith. The police arrested them and launched a detailed investigation into the case. 46-year-old Sreejith is a mechanical engineer by profession and also holds a management degree. He entered the Malayalam film industry in 2005 and has acted in more than 70 films.
For your information, let us know that this is not the first time that Sreejith has been arrested in this case. He was earlier arrested for a similar offence in 2016 but later managed to get out of the case.
