Who does not know the famous actor of Tollywood, Ajit Kumar in today's time, he often remains in discussions for one reason or the other, whereas today Ajit Kumar is celebrating his 49th birthday. Born on 1 May 1971 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, he is an Indian film actor, who is considered as one of the leading actors of Tamil film industry. Ajith grew up as the middle child in a typical middle class family of Hyderabad, India. He grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He left the Asan Memorial Higher Secondary School in 1986 before completing his higher secondary education. 

He started work as a mechanic and got himself a driver's license which was in line with his interest in car racing. Ajit had to take up a job at the age of 18 to maintain his profession of car racing. He joined a textile export company as an apprentice, then became a businessman, while also doing small advertisements for newspapers and TV. He invested a lot of money in the race. He used to borrow tires from friends and when the chain came off, those friends used to help him, because during that time there was no earning in the race.

After an accident, several business agencies put her in modeling for print media advertisements. He had to choose between films and racing and since films had more opportunities and was earning some money, he started focusing on films. At the age of 20, Ajith was selected by Telugu film producer, Lakshmi Productions, to act in their film, however the shooting of the film was stalled due to the death of its director just before the filming began. Ajith made his film debut at the age of 21 in the low budget Telugu film "Prema Pustagam", which is his last direct Telugu film till date.
